Well, we suspected it would be only a matter of time before someone figured out how to automate copywriting, and My CopyWriter is the program that purports to do just that. According to the program's author, "My Copywriter will generate an unlimited number of click-bank style sales letters at the click of a button. It literally automates each step of the letter writing process." That's a steep claim -- one in which we had to see to believe because we know that it can take up to twelve hours or more to write a convincing sales letter. Was this the software to do it? Here are our thoughts.
Upon loading the program, we had to supply some obvious information: Product name, seller's name, price, website url, and order link. But then we were asked to enter a link to our affiliate page so that people could sign up for our program. That's a pretty convenient and a nice gesture right off the bat. We proceeded to enter in the number of sales letters to "generate" (we chose one) and the number of paragraphs that sales letter should own. After that, we made a few selections from choices that offered a generated introduction, list of features, testimonials, closing, and guarantee. Then we clicked the program's OK button. But we honestly weren't prepared for what happened next.
Right before our eyes, we literally watched the program generate and write our sales letter sentence by sentence. It was as if this thing was thinking on it's own. The entire sales letter -- complete with an introduction, list of features, testimonials, closing, and guarantee -- was right there on our computer as promised. We could edit the letter; save it as a text file, email message, web page, or Word document file; and we could generate a new one right from the same screen. Even better, we could edit the letter as an HTML file and preview how it would look on the web.
Two things really stood out for us though, and that was the program's auto-speller and thesaurus. The auto-speller runs through the sales letter and automatically corrects typos and commonly misspelled words. We've never seen that before even though it should be a staple in ALL editing programs. The thesaurus is built in, and it presents a nice menu of alternative synonyms right from the menu bar.
So yeah - this thing works! It's just unlike anything that we've ever seen. Highly recommended for anyone who needs one sales letter or... a thousand.
Try it and see for yourself! My CopyWriter.
