Although you can find free antivirus, anti-spyware, and anti-adware software, most of the better ones cost money. The problem with this cost for some people is that it isn’t typical. Only in rare cases can you buy these programs outright and never have to spend additional funds. Most of these programs in fact require a paid subscription — some by month, others by year.

You’ve probably heard it from everyone you know: “Don’t download files from people you don’t know.” This advice is now our golden rule of computer security safety. But truth be told, we all have to download something from an unknown source at one point or another. If we don’t, we won’t be able to watch videos, calculate work data, or freely communicate with loved ones overseas. Downloading stuff from the Internet is what people do and there’s just no stopping it no matter where the downloads comes from!

Can you identify each and every single security risk on your computer? If you think you can, you may be in for a rather alarming surprise since the truth is… no single net-connected computer can be 100% risk-poof or protected.
