Privacy Control - Product Review

It's critical that we stress the importance of keeping our information private while online. A few of our product reviews indicate that we have other interests in addition to PC security, but those interests don't downplay the conviction that we have towards such a serious issue. There's nothing trivial about identity theft and we're happy to have found a program that will help you keep your identity yours, and our identity ours: Privacy Control. Privacy Control destroys any and all evidence of computer tasks -- making it the perfect tool to fight phishing, spam, scams, and fraud. As a preventative measure, it's also the perfect tool for deterring adware, spyware, viruses and other malware threats.

Our use of the program revealed that Privacy Control effectively removed all traces of our email and Internet activity. And to be quite honest, we were rather surprised at how much of that activity was on our hard drive! Had we been infected by spyware or a virus, we would have had to change our credit card pin numbers, usernames and passwords, and probably our phone numbers as well. The amount of data that remained on our computer -- even after closing our email program and clearing our internet cache -- was simply surprising (and admittedly, a little disturbing). To add insult to injury, we know that this information could have been stolen and exploited by a 'wanna-be' hacker script-kiddie. A bored little juvenile delinquent could have ruined the lives of everyone in our office simply because he could. But not anymore. We installed Privacy Control on every computer we have.
